    Contributions to civic leagues or other section 501(c)(4) organizations generally are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. In the case of ABI, these contributions are not tax deductible.

    ABI supports and promotes meaningful legislation, and smart regulations in order to fulfill its mission statement. Regulators and legislators today have the choice to either provide the necessary tools to allow blockchain technology grow in the United States, or to allow America’s competitors to lead in this innovative space through a harmful regulatory environment. Therefore it is vital to highlight the importance of blockchain technology in America and educate its leaders.

  • How will my donations be used?

    Donations to ABI will be used primarily to educate and advocate for balanced regulation and government use-cases for blockchain. We seek to provide U.S. legislators with the insight to create meaningful regulations towards blockchain technology.

    A common misconception regarding cryptocurrencies is that they are completely anonymous. However, currencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum are actually pseudonymous and can be tracked. Additionally, it is commonly believed that cryptocurrencies are the preferred method for illegal activities such as money laundering. In reality, FIAT currencies remain the preferred method for such activities.

    In order to maximize our reach and further our goals, ABI is a non-partisan organization. We believe blockchain technology is a bipartisan policy area with broad potential to address issues recognized by both Democrats & Republicans. American leadership in technology and innovation is a non-partisan objective; therefore why should blockchain technology be any different.
